Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. One can be a pro in Poker, but when the cards are dealt luck is the same for everybody. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. There is a betting round after the first deal. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. You can leave all the cards or you can throw away some of them. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. You will the same number of cards instead of those you have thrown away. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
