While each poker player has their own unique playing and decision making style, there are basically only four main categories of players. All these types of players have their own techniques which can be very useful under certain circumstances.
Each of these types has at least two basic attributes.
If the player is tight (plays very few hands) or loose (plays a lot of hands):
Or the player can be either aggressive or passive. An aggressive player has the following features: he bluffs and raises while a passive player calls the bets of other players.
Loose-Aggressive
In fact it is the weakest category in online poker. This player gambles according to the following principle: he raises after every flop. If playing in a real casino such a strategy works against poor players and allows a player to win only small pots. But in an online casino this strategy will bring nothing but losses. Loose-Aggressive players attract sharks. Sharks let such a player has his small pots, but then they are ready to break this player and win all his money. The only advice here is not to stick to one and the same table. It is better to change tables every 50 hands.
Loose-Passive
The players of this type can also be said to be weak. The players of this group will gain success if there are a lot of wild players at the table and everything is determined only by luck. They typically will simply call the bets of the other players disregarding the Pot Odds or strength of their hand. Such players can stay in the game longer than anybody else, but they will never be able to beat the house edge.
Tight-Passive
With the help of bad players at the table players of this type win. The biggest weakness of a Tight-Passive player is that they are so easy to figure out. Such players never bluff. If this type of player has a decent hand or a lot of outs, he or she will call your bet or make a small bet. If not, they will fold.
Tight-Aggressive
This is the best type among all others. These players will only see a flop with a decent hand and will then take a shot at the pot after the flop with a bet. Online Liar's Poker Bets.
