In Straight Poker each player is dealt five cards. Unlike other Poker variations players can’t draw in Straight Poker. There is a period of time, during which palyers can make bets. It is called a betting interval. The winner gets the jackpot. One can win if he has the strongest hand at a showdown or if all other players fold. The example of Straight Poker is Double-Barrel Shotgun. Double-Barrel Shotgun starts by each player being dealt 5 cards face down. The player to the dealer’s left begins by exposing one of his cards. Betting intervals then alternate with further rounds of exposing one card each. On the fifth and final round of exposure, the best hand wins. Multi-Hand Draw Poker. |
