A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. It is pretty much a game of chance. There are a lot of skilled and experienced poker players, but when it concerns the deal of the cards there is nothing they can do. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game you have to make a bet equal to the highest bet made by one of the players. You can leave all the cards or you can throw away some of them. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner.
