Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. One can be a pro in Poker, but when the cards are dealt luck is the same for everybody. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. You can leave all the cards or you can throw away some of them. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards.
