The game of Poker is played with a 52-card deck. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. There are a lot of skilled and experienced poker players, but when it concerns the deal of the cards there is nothing they can do. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. After everybody on the table is done with the betting the highest ranked hand wins and gets whatever is in the pot in the middle.
