One of the new video poker variations is Pick’em Poker. You can usually find Pickem Poker on the multi-game machines in casinos, the ones where you determine which game you're going to play by touching a screen and choosing. What's interesting about the game is that it has more in common with stud poker than draw poker, and it has a potentially tremendous payout percentage - 99.95 percent if played with perfect strategy. As you know you receive five cards in other video poker games, but in the case with Pick'em Poker you will receive 8 cards. Two of these cards are placed face up on the left and two sets of three cards on the right. After the deal you can see four cards as the top cards of the sets of cards on the right are up. You have to hold the two cards on the left. You have to hold them till the end of the game. You do get to pick which of the two stacks of cards on the right you want to keep though. The other two cards of the tree-card stack will be turned up as soon as you decide which one to hold.
In fact this fact determines the outcome of the game. You have to make a right choice. Two cards on the left and a stack of three cards you have left on the right form a hand. Internet Chinese Poker Strategy. |
