Tens or Better is one of the video poker variations, which is played between the player and the dealer. You are dealt five cards in the first hand, and offered the option with that first hand, to choose which cards you want to hold and which you would like to discard. Instead of cards you decide to throw away you will get the same number of new cards from the deck. If you have a hand which is stronger than that of the dealer you win. Be aware that the lowest winning hand is a Pair of Tens. Tens or Better Video Poker is based on the game of Jacks or Better, which is the basis for all video poker variations. You can choose one of available betting options. You also have the choice of making a 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x (5x being the max bet) bet per hand. First Nations Poker Winning Hand.
