Poker is popular all over the world. It combines principles of card games known hundreds of years ago in Europe and probably long before that in the Orient, but in its present form it is distinctly of American origin. Nowadays there are exist many poker variations, but there are not many differences between them. The principle of the game is the same for all poker variations. A person who has learned these principles can play without difficulty in any game. Poker is a game of betting and card combinations. In most poker variations the combination of five highest-ranking cards form a winning hand, but in some poker games the strongest hands are different. In High/Low poker the pot can be split by two players. The player with the highest-ranking hand and the player with the lowest-ranking hand win. All bets made by all players go in a pile of chips in the center of the table, called the pot. You can compete for the pot only if you agree to meet the highest bet made by another player. Because of this rule, players are able to bluff and win the pot. Every player tries to win the jackpot. The pot can be won in two different ways. When all the bets are made by the players, they show down their cards. The player with the best hand wins. If one of the players make a bet, which is not met by other players, he wins the pot without showing his cards. All cards of the 52 card deck are used. The cards are dealt one at a time, clockwise motion (number of cards varies with game). Aces are high, but aces rank low in the sequence A-2-3-4-5. Computer Poker Game Four Of A Kind.
