A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. After the first deal players have to make bets. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. After the second and final deal the betting is about to start. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
