Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. There are a lot of skilled and experienced poker players, but when it concerns the deal of the cards there is nothing they can do. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. There is a betting round after the first deal. You must at least call to stay into the game. You can leave all the cards or you can throw away some of them. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. You will the same number of cards instead of those you have thrown away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow.
