The main feature of shared games is the community cards, which are common for all players at the table. To form their hands all players can use these community cards. In Texas Holdem Poker each player receives 2 cards face down. 5 more cards are dealt face down on the table. They are called community cards. When the cards are dealt players make bets and then the dealer turns up 3 community cards. Then there is one more betting round. One more table card is flipped, followed by another round of betting. The last card is flipped, a final round if betting ensues, and finally a showdown in which players make their best hands using their two pocket cards and the table's five shared cards. The player with the strongest hand is the winner. Classic Draw Poker Community Cards. |
