While each poker player has their own unique playing and decision making style, there are basically only four main categories of players. Each of these styles has strengths and weaknesses, and each of these styles can be profitable in the correct situation. An aggressive player has the following features: he bluffs and raises while a passive player calls the bets of other players. Loose-Aggressive Loose-aggressive player is the weakest player especially in online poker game. The main feature of such a player is that he raises every time after the flop. Their strategy often works against poor players and will win a lot of small pots, but online, these players will go broke quickly. Loose-Aggressive players attract sharks. Sharks let such a player has his small pots, but then they are ready to break this player and win all his money. The only way this strategy works is for the player to wander from one table to another approximately every 50 hands. Loose-Passive This is another weak category. Their strategy is to call the bets of other players no matter how strong their hands are. Tight-Passive These players can win money simply because there are so many bad players in the online poker rooms. The biggest weakness of a Tight-Passive player is that they are so easy to figure out. Players of this type never bluff. If this type of player has a decent hand or a lot of outs, he or she will call your bet or make a small bet. They fold if they have a bad hand. Tight-Aggressive This is the best type among all others. They have the following principle of the game: see a flop with a decent hand and then take a shot at the pot after the flop with a bet.
